♥ My Diary ♥

Can u imagine me going back to school for meeting till 11.40p.m. on a SUNDAY?!

I'm damn shack now esp when i paid fullest attention during the meeting. i had to take minutes today. The secretary is not in town today so i was given the responsibility to do so...

Some of us met up for KTV session before the meeting.

Was quite awkward initially as I was the only female who turned up and I wasn't very close to the VIVACE members yet. Luckily, the guys were spontaneous + fun and another girl turned up after an hour or so later. I would say that i had a very enjoyable week and i look forward to more of it~! More gatherings, more new lunch and dinner kakis, more new friends, a more optimistic me and more things to expect from myself.

I am having another lump again. This is my 3rd serious one. Went for operations for the first 2 and most probably i'll need another one for this. Think i'd better go for a full body check up. I really have a higher possibility of contracting cancer i think. So people! Treat me nice before you lose me ya! haha...

Went for mini SFH gathering at Samar after work today. Never failed to enjoy myself and realise how shallow i am with them around. After some games and lame jokes at Samar, we went for supper at a nearby coffee shop and engaged in a few hours chat.

Our topics ranges from Christianity and Buddhism to freakonomics, black hole, philosophy and why men have nipples (-_-"') etc. These guys are damn knowlegeable la! Don't judge a book by its cover~ Although they always fool around but they know ALOT! I really need to buck up... Nevertheless, I really had an enjoyable night. Thank you my dearies!

hellooooooo i I'm back from a '2 hours' trip in Europe

Prague, Munich, Venice, Vennia, Rome and Budapest........ heez....

Met up with Huixin and Mingsing for dinner after work with zhirui the PIG joining us after his interview to be a zookeeper (okie that was a lie and i managed to trick huixin to believe in what i've said). As usual, we can't stop bickering when we see each other... and i have no idea why. Feel uneasy without scolding him wahah! hate him la! haha....

Huixin and mingsing requested us to walk in front of them coz they love our 'show' -_-"'

Zhirui showed us the pics he took in Europe and gave us a short history lesson.

Immediately, the 3 of us turned into green-eyed monsters...

I wanna visit Europe too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really want to!!!!!!

After seeing all the pics, i am very very very + super super super motivated to go there for exchange (it's kinda diff tho but i'll pray hard). If not, I dun mind going backpacking. Should have agreed to go with him in the first place! Full of regrets!!!!

Was approached by the financial controller of my internship company to work for them again for the next few months. The pay is good but... urghh... should I or should I not? I like working in the accounting dept... but.... I miss the fun there...but...yummy treats from 'uncle tay'...but...phone calls asking me 'qian bian wen da ti'... but... haha i'm so irritating...

Anway, my first day of work at AP comms was great.

Darren, suzi's BZE fren, is nice but the colleague who is sitting next to me is irritating... --> 'Miss Suzi Seow'

HAHA!!! kidding... if not for her, i will not have enjoyed work today... =p

First meeting with the Freshmen Bash Committee was great too~

Had an enjoyable meeting even though i was already drained after a day's work.

only miss seow knows why eh? heez...

HEHE... I'm excited over holding auditions for the nominees for the pageant and selecting the finalists! It sure will be FUN!

First Convocation meeting will be held next tuesday...

Convocation is a grand ceremony which officially invites freshmen into SMU

Hmm... Attending convocation seems to take place only yesterday.

Our 8th VIVACE meeting will be held on Sunday? Think so.

Meeting Josh to draft a letter with regards to VIVACE tml...

It's sunday again..... but a wet one...

Went to catch the movie The Da Vinci Code with suzi and yuexin last night.
A movie that spurred interest and aroused controversies and furore among christian community due to the mix of fiction and facts. Nevertheless, i thought it is a nice show where most of the contents in the book were not eliminated from the movie.

Bumped into Zhenhui the pig who finished watching movie too.
Silly girl.... next time can give us a call la!

Anyway, we ended the day in KBOX. A tiring singing session tho haha!
Will be working for a week starting tml. A big thank to miss seow~!

Jie is flying to Middle East this coming friday. A start of her new job as an air stewardess

She'll be living there for 2 years...sob sob... i'll miss her lots...

Most girls' ambition is to be an air stewardess when they were young, so was mine.

Seeing so many friends entering this occupation makes me so envious of them

hohoho... it really gives one a sense of satisfaction to acheive his or her dreams eh?

What's my current dream or goal in life?

I wanna master korean language and work in a local korean firm or in korea?

How did your family celebrate mother's day?

My family celebrated mother's day with my grandma at a chinese restuarant where my mum held her bday celebration last year. We spent a few hundred bucks on some not-so-nice-and-yet-so-freakingly-expensive-set-meal-with-only-6-dishes. Bro was complaining on the way home that there's no shark's fin in the shark fin's soup and there's no chicken meat in the chicken served. It's true... they substituted the chicken meat with what i thought was fishcake. That was really bad.... The fish was not fresh (even tho i'm not a 'fish' person, i knew it wasn't fresh). The dessert was awful too. It would be reasonable to pay so much for some delicious food but today's dishes really couldn't make it... Kinda disappointed...

Went to sis-in-law's parent's house after dinner. It was my first time there... it is the condominium next to Parkway Parade Shopping Centre. The condo was really nice~ especially the swimming pool haha... When will I be rich enough to buy my own condo? hohoho~ think i gotta work extra extra extra hard for the next 10 to 20 years.

Anyway, hope my darling mum had a nice mother's day.

~FYI, I have a very great mum~

She is a wonderful mum

- who helps me make my bed everyday (i'm one such lazy daughter)

- who tells me super lame and cold jokes

- who makes drinks for me when i'm studying

- who trusts me lots

- who never fails to go shopping with me even though her legs hurt & had to take medicine

- who always complains that i'm stingy and volunteers to buy the expensive stuffs for me

- who throws fake cockraoch at me to scare me

- who catches insects for me (not for me, i mean to throw them away)

- who reminds me yearly not to get tricked on april fool's day

- who reminds me not to get drunk whenever i go clubbing

- who always got reprimanded by my bro or dad when i go home late (coz they dun scold me)

- who will come hopping into my room to show me her new clothes (women are vain at all ages)

- who returned the money i gave her for mother's day after showing off to my dad and bro

the list can go on...

Think i have nothing else to ask for having her as my mum...(eeekkkk so mushy)

But it's true la although she gets on my nerves at times.

I Had a long day today... am feeling so sleepy now but i must have the discipline to complete my homework first.

This morning, i accompanied mum to AMK for her fren's shop opening ceremony then went back to school for VIVACE meeting. YES...BACK TO SCHOOL ON A PUBLIC HOLIDAY!
VIVACE is a CCA day which will be held in SMU campus. This is a day where all the CCAs will set up a booth to attract the freshmen to join their clubs. Today's meeting was the longest one. We took a long 4 hours plus... but today's meeting was great coz miss seow was there too!

After the meeting, we went to meet piggies!
All turned up except for joan, jacinda (not in town now) and carlene.
Had Genki Sushi and as usual we made lotsa noise. The customers around us must have been irritated by us. haha...after having our dinner at Genki, we shifted to Macdonalds. I spent the whole time there meddling with angie's new hp. I like her hp! Pink motorola V3x... anyone feeling rich enough to buy one for me? ahah...

before i end this post, i just wanna say: "YUEXIN, NICE TRY!!!!!!!! THAT'S THE SPIRIT!!"

Just came home after having a drink with mingsing and jack at Grapevine.
Actually, it was a last minute arrangement... haha...
I sort of have the mood to meet them for dinner all of a sudden so met up with them after their work. However, we din manage to have our dinner as it was already 9 plus so we ended up going for a drink instead.

Thanks to the both of them, I enjoyed myself tonight...
think they had more good times than me la! yeah rite, had a good time irritating me...
They've already know me well enough to imitate all my upcoming expressions & silly actions ~
Urghhhh! hate them!!! haha....

Can't finish my quiz within the time given again........ urghhh....

Anyway here are some recaps of what happened yesterday

Accompanied Angie to Temasek Poly to get her letter of recommendation.
Managed to grab the chance to catch up with some of my lecturers and course manager. Whenever i meet up with them, they would always mention about asking me back to give talk to the juniors... hope they dun mean it. *pray hard*

Anyway, i was told by my course manager that the chicken cutlet uncle passed away last week. Western food in biz park is great and this uncle would always say "cutlet 1" when we order chicken cutlet. We used to laugh at how he din add up the number of orders and he went "cutlet one", "cutlet one", cutlet one" if 3 people order them instead of "cutlet three" or "3 cutlet". Missed the food in TP.............

Memories kept flowing back to the both of us as we walked along the corridor of the computer labs, biz park, the school bookshop and most importantly.....this place

Let's Move nearer! and nearer and nearer....... YES! JUPITER CAFE!!! haha

Rmb we used to come here during breaks and wait for one another to finish school before going out together. It was 24 of us in year 1 where we would wait till 6pm EVERYDAY for the last person to end his or her lesson and 24 of us would go to Tampines central to hang out. However as the year went by, the number of people who met up shrank to only the girls and few guys.

Chicken Bolognese, Chicken n Mayo Sandwich (my favourite!), French Fries etc etc... *drooling* Although we've left the school for a year, the service is still the same. We waited very long for our food to be served as USUAL. Oh and the delicious fries are no longer the same... I prefer the ones in the past.

Lucky or Unlucky?

3) Am so sleepy but was woken up by cries and screams in the MRT

A baby girl was crying and screaming all the way from Hougang *i think* to Dhoby Ghaut!

Why her mum didn't do anything to stop her from crying?!

I bet people can hear her from 4 cabins away and that little girl is sure to lose her voice for a few days.

4) Reached city hall. Gloomy sky and rain! Urghh no umbrella!
