KTV Session

Went for NARNIA after our ktv session. Mingsing and I almost fell asleep during the show.... opps... (maybe both of us were just tired). i have expected the show to be good after hearing so many feedbacks from frens and cousin. hmm....not really that bad actually....but i dun think it is worth watching (just my personal opinion)

Went MOS at night but the queue for the guys is very long so we headed to Zouk instead. i had lotsa fun and i do hope everyone enjoyed themselves too!

An adVenturous tUesdaY for Gillian Ting Yee Fang and Rean Ting Fu Long

Watched Perhaps Love.... a touching show i would describe it....
the storyline which revolves around 3 characters is simple yet i enjoyed it
despite the fact that i was abit turned off during the first few minutes of the show, i started to find it amusing because the actors and actresses are as if performing a musical concert. Nice movie (thumbs up)

after the show, we went to china square to have dinner. had japanese food but not v nice =(
haha then we went to esplanade to find this ice-cream parlor which his fren recommended...
we were searching around for some time when he decided to call his fren.... and guess what? the ice cream parlor thinggie his fren referred to was Haagen-Dazs...
anyway we ended up in a shop eating chocolate fondue and milkshake....
had an enjoyable day!!~~ thanks rean!

Din manage to get my new phone today....
wanted to get Sony ericsson K750i but mum asked me to get Nokia N70 instead becoz aunt said it is good, however, it costs $688! haha luckily mum says that she is buying it for me! my Second hp from mum heez....the first is Nokia 3210 (that was like how many years ago?). Besides that, i received 50 bucks from her today to get myself a xmas gift...

I LOVE MY MUM!!!!! SHE IS THE BEST!!!!
She is forever supportive and always providing me with what i want....
LOVE HER LOTS muacks!!!!!!!!

i had family dinner at bi feng tang in Century square just now... haha we ordered too much food and were all trying hard to finish every dishes... then i went for kopi session with mingsing at sengkang sculpture park and shifted to the kopitiam near my place after that.... had a nice day again!

hmm..... i'm really enjoying every single minute of my life noW!

ktv, movie and clubbing on wed~
how long more can this last before skool reopens?!

met mabel at 3pm and we spent the whole evening there till 8 plus (power~!).... heez
wasn't feeling well still.... =(
vomited after having my drink and potato salad at coffee bean.

on my way home, i was invited by SQ to his friend's house in punggol.
had games of guesstures, red wine, cake and fruits and that is how i spent my xmas this year.

i am planning to get my new hp, visit the doctor and cut my hair tml....
Hope i'll get my new hp by tml!

Hohoho... Advanced Merry Xmas!
Currently i'm having a fever, therefore i'll not be celebrating xmas this year. sob sobz

i'm starting to miss the time spent in thailand with all of them.
two weeks isn't a long period and yet it isn't a short period for 40 people to live, work, sweat, and laugh together everyday. i missed the "cha yen yen-ing" in between our work, the cha-ron (hot milk tea), the fried chickens, the cold and lame jokes we shared, the partying at "club" 339, the gossippings, the journey to and from our worksites on the song-tiao (even tho i was always sleeping during the journey), the sharings held and the letters i received everyday.

okie...i've run out of words to describe the feeling....

The kids here are very active and they just wun let go of you once they hopped onto ur back. I think the guys had fun playing with the kids (good fathers in the future eh? hehe)

Tap Tawaan is like a farm with all sorts of animals. they have piggies, chickens, cat, dogs and POG (a combi of pig and dog). I missed the smoothies there! (watermelon, mango, orange, pineapple and the apple smoothies are delicious!). My toe swelled for no reason and they kept making fun of my bandaged toe.

Almost every night, the few of us would create chaos in Room 339. I missed the games of circle of death, big fish small fish, the cards sessions and the non-stop laughings. Huixin, the girl who never fails to make me laugh everyday, will turn into a taliban whenever she started drinking wahaha! There are more funny pictures but i have not gotten their permission to place them here so that's all for noW!

i've been in khao lak for a week...

learnt alot from this trip.. haha i think the 40 of us can set up a construction company when we get back to Singapore... next next mon will be a year since tsunami hit these villages. you guys will never know how heartbreaking it is to see the after effect of the tsunami. even tho it's almost been a year, the effects of the tsunami are still visible. (will load the pics when i get back)

i met many ppl here from all over the world. e.g. canada, australia, china, US etc. despite the diverse backgrounds, everyone works well with one another.

Had been painting the houses, carrying buckets of sand, stones and cement, filling up the foundation of the houses etc. u'll be amazed at how the houses here are built.
they look dangerous but this is the way how the thais have been building their homes. the tasks given to us are really tiring and tedious but i had fun. all who came for this trip are fun ppl~ we have been sharing cold jokes for the past one week and i ran out of jokes now...so do update me if u have one to share...

Last night, we had a party with the caucasians and thais. played volleyball and most importantly, i played with fireworks! FIREWORKS! the one we saw during national day~ haha the fireworks are really really beautiful... they come in sticks and it will shoot out from the sticks after lighting them. haha then we went back to our 'hotel' and 10 of us (huixin and i were the only girls who played) played circle of death in 'CLUB 339'. we drank a total of 17 bottles of beer... all of us were so dipsy and the guys are realli funny becoz they did many stupid but cute stuffs. however, we were 'scolded' by the committee members for being too noisy and stuffs like tat. hohoho... but we'll be continuing the game later still... heez

Today is our rest day. We went to a dark cave to explore, played games at a park and went to search for waterfall today (unfortunately, din manage to see the waterfall but we'll be going to another waterfall tml). i'm looking forward to it and the SHOPPING trip tml!!!

that's all for today, i feel so itchy now...the shop is quite dirty...

5 more hours to go and i'll be in the airport!!

Today, I realised that i am one lucky gal who is doted by so many people...

- My mum. She bought me alot of things for the trip. Even though she din mentioned anything, I know she's very very very very worried about me. she has always been very supportive except this time. However, she noes i'm one stubborn daughter so she had no choice.

- Although we seldom talk to each other due to the 12 yrs age gap, my only brother has always showered his care and concern for me indirectly. He took all the trouble to get me a pendant to protect myself. And mum was told to pass it to me.

- My mum's fren got me a copper coin, which was supposed to be kept by my side at all times.

- My uncle gave me SGD$300+ worth of Thai Baht to spend (i shouldn't have converted my money into thai baht last week)

- Janice, offered to send me to the airport at 4.30a.m.. even tho her dad doesn't allow her to use his car to do so, i am greatly touched by her intention to do so. Thanks pig!

- friends who kept reminding to take care of myself and my valuables

etc, etc....

Aww... What else can i ask for? BYE!

I'm down with flu.... feeling so terrible!
one more day to Khao Lak!
i'm both looking forward and not looking forward to it.

Looking forward to it as i think it'll be fun.
Not looking forward to it becoz i will miss home esp my bed and it will be the
- 1st time i'll be away from home for two weeks in a rural area,
- 1st time i'm sleeping without my tiny pillow for two weeks,
- 1st time i'll be doing my own laundry,
- 1st time i'll be under the fierce and hot sun everyday for two weeks!

okie i shall stop complaining....
haha i will miss all of you, piggies!

btw thanks to angie and jacinda ya, keep making fun of me...
i shall build one sty for the both of u over there.
dun worry, i'll get on good terms with the farmer within these two weeks and will make sure you two have good life when u 'migrate' over.

Arghhhhh...... i missed Taiwan......

anyway, went for lunch-cum-dinner in Food Republic in Wisma after my flu jab today. The setting of the 'food court' is so '60s' and '70s'. it's cute i should say. the stall owners wore all sorts of attires and there is this ice cream uncle pushing his cart around the 'food court', making us feel like we are in the 60s or 70s. okie i should stop sounding like a oh-i-am-a-kuku.

My first day of holiday,

after all the15 weeks of mugs, mugging and muggings!

Had shelter for humanity meeting today with regards to the activities, thai language, and the things to bring for the two weeks in northern thailand. i hope this community service will be a fruitful experience for me. mum had been complaining that i should enjoy life in singapore instead of going there to do all the tedious work and get tanned. haha too bad.... i have already made up my mind ever since i knew about this project. However, i am very disturbed by the rumours about the tsunami occurance which will take place this month.

Went to orchard with Nick after that. Din manage to get anything for ourselves. Managed to talk Nick out of getting his $299 bathing ape tshirt! I knew he wanted it very much, so i predict that tshirt will land up in his wardrobe very soon.

Heez....i am finally getting my butt out of the chair to get some exercise at angie's house tml. haven been doing any exercises for the past few months!! (unless that walking from Dobby Ghaut to SMU counts). arghh...I need to lose weight!!!
