♥ My Diary ♥

A moment later, it rained....

We met huixin and mingsing for dinner at a Turkish restaurant 'SOFRA' after that...
The food was nice... but it wasn't filling.
Matthew was like "gillian, are you full!?"
nah... I was only half fulled! aha, i'm a big eater...

Our next destination? An Arabic restuarant which Jack recommended...
It's supposed to be a famous restuarant but I din even hear about it before!
Opps... better hide my 'swakooish-ness'

SAMAR, the Arabic restaurant

The thing that fascinated me is this thing called SHISHA.
I have never heard of it before!
Okie, let miss ting do some introduction about it hohoho...

It's like a water pipe. Another form of tobacco smoking but we smoke through a tube. When we inhale through the tube, a pressure difference forces air past the coal (placed on the very top of the shisha), heating the tobacco (somewhere duno where), which gives off smoke; the smoke is pulled away from the tobacco, through the water, and into the air of the smoke chamber which we inhaled. Passing through the water partially filters tar and nicotine from the tobacco smoke, in addition to cooling it. They have different flavours such as vanilla, cuppucino and mint etc... Ours is mint.

The Shisha

What a nice way to start our holiday yea!
